The end of year is an important time to reflect on the year and plan for the new year ahead.

It is also the time for “Top” lists! What people watch says a lot about what they are thinking and feeling. Understanding these trends can help advertisers tap into consumers' need states and plan for future campaigns. The goal of this EOY activation is to highlight global trends and themes across the platform using examples from the year’s top ten list.

A global website was created across multiple markets to showcase the breadth of content on YouTube and how people around the world are finding what resonates most with them. When YouTube shares unique insights, advertisers lean in.

Since this is a look at the latest trends on YoTube, the look and feel was inspired by the latest design trends and given a Gen Z feel. A bright color palette was used with a blended gradient texture. The idea was to create something youthful and trendy to capture the creativity that can be found on YouTube.
